Black Enamel Dome Light

In the classic style of 1930s American factory lamps, this metal pendant of recent vintage is glossy black enamel around a white interior. The large yet simple dome descends from a three-tiered transitional element on a black wire. The lamp embraces the clean, no-nonsense efficiency of American industrial apparatus from an era just before the modernist boom of mid-century, when unity of form and function was less a style aspiration than a production asset.
