That's not a slogan we picked for a sign. It's the reason Haus of Rex exists.

Good design has always been treated like something you had to earn — a certain budget, a certain zip code, a certain amount of taste other people got to define for you. We don't buy that. A well-made chair, a piece with real history in it, a room that actually feels like something — that's not supposed to be rationed. Everyone deserves it.

So we built an 11,000-square-foot showroom in Palm Springs — one of the largest design co-ops in the desert — around that idea. We source, vet, and authenticate real vintage mid-century pieces from names worth knowing: Brown Saltman, Drexel, Heywood-Wakefield, Milo Baughman, Adrian Pearsall, Gastone Rinaldi, and more. Alongside them, we carry design that's still being made today and holds up just as well — playful, functional pieces from Heller, hand-poured candles from Voluspa, and art and architecture books from Phaidon and Taschen. Every piece earns its place on our floor, whether it's ninety dollars or nine thousand, new or seventy years old.

With over 25 years of design experience behind it, this isn't a business figuring out what it believes. It's one that's believed the same thing the whole time, and finally says so on the first line instead of the last.
