Mid Century Scheurich

Scheurich Keramik is generally recognized as a part of the West German Art Pottery era between 1949 and 1990 and its mid-century modern style productions of original design forms. The company used rich, vibrant colored glazes like these dark blue and orange colors, paired with a lava-type glaze or this solid deep glossy red glazed vase. The company produced jugs, vases, handle vases, large floor vases, pitchers, planters, ashtrays, and a few household items.
