Danish Modern Teak Articulated Monkey Small

The Danish Modern Teak Articulated Monkey refers to one of the most celebrated icons of Scandinavian design: the Kay Bojesen Wooden Monkey. Designed in 1951 by Danish silversmith and designer Kay Bojesen, this articulated figure was originally conceived as a children's clothes hook (where the long arms and hook-like hands could hold a coat or hat) but quickly grew into a worldwide design classic.

Authentic pieces are handcrafted in Denmark using a combination of plantation teak and limba wood, featuring 31 separate wooden parts joined together to allow for distinct, playful poses.
